Las Cruces is the home of New Mexico State University and is close to White Sands Missle Test Range. A new city, Spaceport, is being built nearby to handle civilian space flights in the future. Climate is mild, high-desert, sunny, sometimes windy. Cost of living is lower than average for the USA.
